His Excellency Joseph Biden Jr. President of the United States
The White House

Washington DC 20500
                                                                                                                                                            February 1, 2021

Dear President Biden:

Congratulations on your successful campaign to be elected and inaugurated as our 46th President. Today, our country is facing the most challenging time since WW II. Many world political analysts are even concerned that we are heading to a Third World War. However, we were pleased to hear your inauguration speech calling for unity to tackle many of the challenges facing our nation. As you are taking the helm, organizing your administration and making day to day decisions, we citizens would like to express our support to you along with a few concerns from our perspectives.

We are sure that with your vast political experience you will weigh every issue with due consideration. Our nation is in considerable disarray which requires prioritization and patience to sort out and find solutions to our problems by carefully using your valuable political capital. Witnessing your signing a number of executive orders in the past few days, we feel that perhaps you could issue a broader executive order to halt the execution of all the previous Presidential executive orders issued in the past six months. Thus, you would give your Administration sufficient time to review, ponder then recommend for your action. Many previous Presidential executive orders are related to tough and sometimes controversial issues such as US-China trade and sanction orders (causing damages to us, China and the world), illegal and legal immigration (impacting our businesses and social harmony), withdrawal from international organizations (degrading our leadership), military actions (intensifying tension with huge expenses), taxation (requiring due diligence on understanding its impact), ... just to name a few.

To get your Administration appointments quickly confirmed by the Senate must be your highest priority. We support you to press for the confirmation proceedings. We also support your emphasis on a speedy and orderly eradication of the Covid-19 pandemic, now we are the highest impacted nation in the world with over 400,000 deaths.

Our economy needs your utmost attention. How and what to tax, where and who to provide stimulus funds, what and when to build our national infrastructure and which nations we must compete and/or cooperate with are all complex issues on your plate. We sincerely hope you will lead your Administration and persuade the Congress not to waste time on rhetoric but to focus on issues and look forward to your unifying our nation and leading the world again.

Sincerely yours
